This is my second time purchasing this dip belt because someone at the gym stole mine.

I’ve had other brand-name smleatherbelts-craftss, but the majority of them start ripping at the fabric after a year or so.

PROs:
Chain is long enough: 1) to hook through three 45lb plates 2) Adjustable via a carabiner whether you want a longer or shorter moment arm
From my experience, I’ve done pull-ups with total of 110lb of plates with this belt and still feels secure.
Padding is comfortable enough to not dig into your skin or soft to the point where it don’t hold its shape.

CONs:
Not really much after using my first one for 3 years, but I do wish the chain is some how detachable so once in awhile I can wash the belt itself.

The belt is very comfortable for both weighted dips and pull-ups, and I think that I will probably wear out before it does. The only thing I don’t like is the clip and its placement on the belt.The clip has sharp edges and likes to grab fingers and shirts. It would also be nice if it was on the other side, but that is personal preference and I can just wear the belt upside down if I really need to. An anecdote on durability: I ran into a guy at the gym who had the same belt but 4 years old.

Changed my mind. I actually will be keeping the product haha. I’m disappointed one of the links broke at such a light weight and recently after purchasing. However, the overall quality is good and it doesn’t seem others are having a problem with the product. I will simply buy a strong carabiner to attach the side that broke off. Will update again if anything else (hopefully not) goes wrong.

It is unfortunate such a good brand, from which I’ve had positive experience before, has failed me on this product.
THE GOOD:
-It’s thick, and the fabric (black) is very rigid.
-Good support on the back, not uncomfortable (BEST feature. Very comfortable.)
